This is the website to show off my photography projects for my high school Photography class. I took photography first term in the fall of 2020 as a senior.
1. How do Photographers care for and maintain materials, tools, and equipment?
- They keep their equipment in cases and under protective covering, they also regularly clean their equipment and know how to repair or replace parts if need be. They also must respect their equipment and ensure it is safe. A lot photography equipment is fragile, lenses can be rendered useless if they get a small scratch or abrasion.
2. Why is it important for safety and health to follow correct procedures in handling materials, tools, and equipment?
- Some of the materials can be toxic and should not be in contact with the skin. Developing chemicals is harsh and toxic. When working with some materials there is a risk of cancer and other long term problems. Gloves, goggles, arm coverings and aprons should be used
3. What responsibilities come with the freedom to create?
- The freedom to create also comes with the responsibility of being influential. Art can be influential to a person's views and opinions, and the artist must remember this and use their influence responsibly. The responsibility to represent the school is great. When at a location, it is important to respect the location and the people there. When at location it is unacceptable to litter or be rude to people. There are many responsibilities that come with freedom.
